【摘要】:ThispartofISO13641specifiesascreeningmethodforassessingthepotentialtoxicityofsubstances,mixtures,surfacewaters,groundwatersandwastewaters,effluents,sludgesorotherenvironmentalsamplesbydeterminingtheproductionofbiogas(carbondioxideandmethane)fromtheanaerobicdigestionofsewagesludgeoverperiodsofupto3days.Thegrowthrateofanaerobicbacteriaismuchlowercomparedwiththatofaerobicmicroorganisms.Forthisreason,thetestperiodsarelongerforanaerobicmethodsthanthoseusedforaerobicbacteria.Thismethodisapplicabletosubstances,solubleorinsolubleinwater,includingvolatilechemicals(seeReference[1]intheBibliography).NOTESpecialcareisnecessarywithcompoundsoflowwater-solubility,andinthesecases,seeforexample,ISO10634.ForgeneralinformationonbiotestingseeISO5667-16.Thismethodcanprovideinformationthatisusefulinpredictingthelikelyeffectofatestmaterialonbiogasproductioninanaerobicdigesters.Forexample,onlylongertests,whichsimulateworkingdigestersmorecloselycanindicatewhetheradaptationofthemicroorganismstothetestmaterialcanoccurorwhethercompoundslikelytobeadsorbedontosludgecanbuilduptoatoxicconcentrationoveralongerperiodthanallowedinthistest.InformationobtainedbythispartofISO13641canalsobehelpfulinchoosingsuitableinitialmassconcentrationsforanaerobicbiodegradabilitytests(e.g.ISO11734).However,thispartofISO13641usingundilutedsludgeislesssuitablefortestingdilutedigestingsludgethanthemethoddescribedinPart2ofISO13641wherethemassconcentrationsareahundredfoldmoredilute.
