【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversasbestosrovinghavingaminimumof75mass%asbestosfiber,excludingthemassofotherinorganicreinforcingstrandswhichmaybepresent.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Warningx2014;Breathingofasbestosdustishazardous.Asbestosandasbestosproductspresentdemonstratedhealthrisksforusersandforthosewithwhomtheycomeintocontact.Inadditiontootherprecautions,whenworkingwithasbestos-cementproducts,minimizethedustthatresults.Forinformationonthesafeuseofchrysoltileasbestos,refertox201C;SafeUseofChrysotileAsbestos:AManualonPreventiveandControlMeasures.x201D;1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethods,Section13,describedinthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Forspecificsafetyhazardwarning,see1.3.
