【摘要】:1.1Thesetestmethodscoveracceleratedproceduresforsimultaneouslydeterminingcomparativecharacteristicsofinsulatingcoatingsystemsappliedtosteelpipeexteriorforthepurposeofpreventingormitigatingcorrosionthatmayoccurinundergroundservicewherethepipewillbeincontactwithinlandsoilsandmayormaynotreceivecathodicprotection.Theyareintendedforusewithsamplesofcoatedpipetakenfromcommercialproductionandareapplicabletosuchsampleswhenthecoatingischaracterizedbyfunctionasanelectricalbarrier.1.2Thistestmethodisintendedfortestingcoatingssubmergedorimmersedinthetestsolutionatroomtemperature.Whenitisimpracticaltosubmergeorimmersethetestspecimen,TestMethodG95maybeconsideredwherethetestcelliscementedtothesurfaceofthecoatedpipespecimen.Ifhighertemperaturesarerequired,seeTestMethodG42.Ifaspecifictestmethodisrequiredwithnooptions,seeTestMethodG80.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsto3significantdecimalsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
