【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversanozone-resistantinsulatingcompoundforelectricalwireandcables14AWGandlarger.Thiscompoundconsistssubstantiallyofathermoplasticelastomer.1.2Thistypeofinsulationissuitableforcontinuousoperationatconductortemperaturesnotexceeding90176;Cindrylocationsand75176;Cinwetlocations.Operatingvoltagesarenottoexceed2000V.Theminimuminstallationtemperatureis40176;C.1.3Whenevertwosetsofvaluesarepresented,indifferentunits,thevaluesinthefirstsetarethestandard,whilethoseinparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Inmanyinstancestheinsulationmaterialcannotbetestedunlessithasbeenformedaroundaconductororcable.Therefore,testsaredoneoninsulatedwireorcableinthisdocumentsolelytodeterminetherelevantpropertyoftheinsulationmaterialandnottotesttheconductororcompletedcable.
