【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamicrographicmethodofdeterminingapparentferriticorausteniticgrainsizeinsteels.Itdescribesthemethodsofrevealinggrainboundariesandofestimatingthemeangrainsizeofspecimenswithunimodalsizedistribution.Althoughgrainsarethree-dimensionalinshape,themetallographicsectioningplanecancutthroughagrainatanypointfromagraincorner,tothemaximumdiameterofthegrain,thusproducingarangeofapparentgrainsizesonthetwo-dimensionalplane,eveninasamplewithaperfectlyconsistentgrainsize.
