【摘要】:Coresamplingisanacceptablewayofobtainingatestspecimenwithoutdestroyingtheusefulnessofacathodeblock.TestspecimensobtainedbythisguidecanbeusedbyproducersandusersofcathodeblocksforthepurposeofconductingthetestsinNote1toobtaincomparativephysicalproperties.Samplingshallnotweakenthecathodeorincreasethelikelihoodofprematurefailure.Extremecareshallbeexercisedwhentakingverticallydrilledsamples.1.1Thisguidecoverssamplingofcarboncathodeblocksusedintheproductionofaluminum,anddetailsproceduresfortakingtestsamplesfromsinglecathodeblocks.Itcoversequipmentandproceduresforobtainingsamplesfromcathodeblocksinamannerthatdoesnotdestroytheblockorpreventitssubsequentuseasoriginallyintended.However,theusermustdeterminethesubsequentuseofthesampledcathodeblocks.Preferredlocationsfortakingsamplesfromsingleunitsofcathodesarecoveredinthisguide.1.1.1Informationforsamplingofshapedrefractoryproducts,ingeneral,isgiveninISO5022.Thisstandarddetailsthestatisticalbasisforsamplingplansforacceptancetestingofaconsignmentorlot.Cathodeblocksusedintheproductionofaluminumhavespecificrequirementsofsampling,andwhilethestatisticalbasisforsamplinggiveninISO5022applies,furtherormodifiedrequirementsmayalsoapply.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note18212;ThefollowingASTMstandardsarenotedassourcesofusefulinformation:TestMethodsC559,C611,C651,C747,C1025,C1039,andC1225.
